Filmmaker Anurag Basu, who is currently scripting the eagerly anticipated biopic on legendary singer Kishore Kumar, said that his movie will go on floors next year.

“I am writing three films right now and will select one of them and then make it. This is because the biopic of Kishore Kumar will take a lot of time and now it might start next year,” said Anurag Basu.

The director revealed that he would be making another movie before Kishore Kumar biopic.

“But before that, I have to make another film. It will start soon by April or May. So the preparations for that are going on,” he said.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor has been signed to play the role of Kishore Kumar in the biopic.

Currently search for an actress to essay Madhubala in the movie is going on.
