Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who will make his Hollywood debut in Baz Luhrmann’s ‘The Great Gatsby’, feels that he is ‘not worthy’ of being on the poster of the movie given his blink and miss role in the movie.
“The poster of The Great Gatsby, something I thought to be too presumptuous but Baz Luhrmann insisted that it be done so there,” posted Amitabh Bachchan on his Twitter page.
“The poster of mine for The Great Gatsby... not worthy of being there, considering my minuscule role, but Baz Luhrmann," he further tweeted.
In the movie ‘The Great Gatsby’ Amitabh Bachchan plays a small yet a crucial role of Jewish gambler Meyer Wolfsheim.
The movie is a big screen adaptation of the classic novel of the same name by F Scott Fitzgerald.
Hollywood actor Leonardo Di Caprio plays the role of Great Gatsby, while plays Nick Carraway.
The movie also stars Carey Mulligab and Joel Edgerton as Daisy and Tom Buchannan, Elizabeth Debicki as Jordan Baker and Isla Fisher as Myrtle Wilson.
The movie's screening will kick start Cannes Film Festival this year on May 15th.
'The Great Gatsby' is scheduled to release on May 10.
