Actor Shahid Kapoor will share screen space with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’.

Salman Khan, who is close friend of the movie’s director Rajkumar Santoshi, agreed to do the cameo on director’s request.

“He and Rajkumar are really close friends, so he was catching up with him. In fact, he even spent a few hours bonding with Shahid. They were seen chit-chatting for quite some time after the shoot,” said a source close to film unit to a leading daily.

Shahid Kapoor and Salman Khan have infact shot for the scene over the last weekend.

“They shot for the scene together over the last weekend at a suburban studio. The shoot lasted for six hours or so,” the source said.

The source though refused to indulge further details regarding Salman Khan’s role in the movie.

“Rajkumar wants it to be a surprise for the audience. So, no one, apart from the actors involved in the scene, is aware of what his role is,” the source said.

Shahid Kapoor’s spokesperson confirmed the news.

“Yes, Shahid and Salman shot together a few days ago,” he said.

The movie stars Ileana D’Cruz as the female lead.
