Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi, who is very well known for playing Sanjay Dutt’s sidekick Circuit in ‘Munna Bhai’ films, said that he won’t be the part of the new Munnabhai movie without the real Munna Bhai.

The actor said that neither he nor the audience will be able to accept any other actor as Munna Bhai.

“I can't (work in the film without Sanjay) because for that character, you can't think of any other person now. That character has a definite structure and a definite personality that matches a lot with that of Sanju's personality,” said Arshad Warsi during the launch of ‘Jolly LLB’ DVD.

“I think somewhere down the line, our audience has enjoyed Sanju (in the film) and they are stuck with him. They will not be able to see anybody. Neither can I imagine anybody else,” he added.

Sanjay Dutt was recently sentenced to five year imprisonment by Supreme Court in regards to 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case. The actor who has already spent 18 months in jail before has to now complete three and the half years in jail.

Before the hearing of the case, the makers of ‘Munna Bhai’ films announced the third installment from the franchise ‘Munna Bhai Chale Delhi’.

While the first two Munna Bhai films – ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’ (2003) and ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ (2006) were directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the third was supposed to be directed by Subhash Kapoor of ‘Jolly LLB’ fame.

The makers have decided to keep the movie on hold till Sanjay Dutt gets released from jail.
