Bollywood filmmaker Karana Johar, one of the most eligible bachelors of India, is all set to turn a father.

According to a popular daily, Karan Johar, who has time and again insisted that he would make a good parent, has decided to go ahead and adopt a baby.

Karan Johar, who is currently single, is intent on raising the child on his own with help of his mother Hiroo Johar, with whom he lives.

“Tell me, who does not want to have a family to extend himself or herself?" said Karan Johar.

Filmmaker is very confident that he and his mother will bring up the baby wonderfully.

Even though Karan Johar’s schedule is jam packed this year, the filmmaker is keen on brining a bundle of joy this year itself.

Karan Johar will be the third celebrity from Bollywood to become a single parent. Previously actress’s Sushmita Sen and Raveena Tandon both adopted two baby girls.
