Previously it was reported that Ranveer Singh would play the lead role in remake of Telugu movie ‘Magadheera’ that starred Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal.

But Ranveer Singh recently denied the reports.

“It's not true, not right now,” said Ranveer Singh to IANS.

“I have seen ‘Magadheera’ and I was absolutely blown away by it. I think Ram Charan is an outstanding talent. But no, I am not doing ‘Magadheera’ right now,” he added.

The rights of the periodic romance drama were bought by the production company Phantom Group, a company by Anurag Kashyap, Vikas Bahl, Madhu Mantena and Vikramaditya Motwane.

The project is supposedly being made on a whooping budget of Rs. 50 crores.

The movie is said to be going on floors later this year.
