Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who underwent a brain surgery recently to remove a clot, is eagerly waiting to get back to work.

Hrithik underwent a brain surgery on last Sunday for removal of a two-month-old clot, which was caused following a head injury while he was performing a stunt for his upcoming film 'Bang Bang'. He was discharged from the hospital on July 11. He has been advised to take four weeks of bed rest.

“I can't afford to take a sick leave. This throws a lot of lives, lives of people very dear to me, completely out of whack. But I cannot worry, that solves nothing. I have to focus on what can be," said Hrithik Roshan to PTI.

“All I have to do is take a decision... I decide that I have the power to turn a curse into a boon, as I have done in the past. I will make up for this in the most wonderful way imaginable for all the people concerned," he added.

Family, friends and fans have asked the actor be very careful while performing stunts. Veteran actor Dharmendra, who is currently in the US to attend a wedding, too insisted that the actor should be very careful while performing stunts.

As soon as Dharmendra got to know of Hrithik's surgery he called him up to check on his health. He made enquires about Hrithik's surgery and asked him to be careful while performing stunts, source close to the actor said.

Hrithik Roshan, who is touched by the concern shown by family, friends and fans, promised to be careful from now on.

"I will of course be most careful. That I promise," concluded Hrithik Roshan.

The actor who has taken a break from work will resume promoting his movie ‘Krrish 3’ as soon as his bed rest is complete.
