Veteran actor and Sonakshi Sinha’s father Shatrughan Sinha is a proud father.

The veteran actor is so impressed with his daughter, Sonakshi Sinha’s, performance in the movie ‘Lootera’ that he now wants to take acting lessons from his daughter.

“East or west, Sonakshi is the best! She has done an outstanding job in the film. There has been immense improvement in her acting, and now I think I have to take acting tips from her,” said Shatrughan Sinha to IANS during a celebration party for movie ‘Lootera’.

The entire cast, including lead actor Ranveer Singh, was present at the event.

‘Lootera’ is a periodic romance drama set in 1950’s. The movie is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and stars Ranveer Singh in lead role.

In ‘Lootera’ Sonakshi Sinha plays a role of pampered daughter of a Bengali zamindaar who falls in love with a stranger with dubious past.

Performances of both Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh have received praises from critics and audience alike. The movie opened to positive reviews and garnered Rs 5.15 Crores on the opening day itself.

The movie crossed Rs 15.35 Crore in its initial weekend itself. The movie is still going strong at the box-office and has crossed Rs. 25 Crore mark already.

With even ‘Lootera’ being declared a hit Sonakshi Sinha has been a part of only one flop movie ‘Joker’. Her other movies ‘Dabangg’, ‘Rowdy Rathore’, ‘Son of Sardaar’ and ‘Dabangg 2’ all have crossed the elite Rs. 100 Crore mark.

The actress will next be seen in ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai Dobara’ followed by ‘Bullet Raja’ and ‘Rambo Rathore’.
