Aamir Khan, who worked with Pran in ‘Isi Ka Naam Zindagi’, said that he was fortunate to have worked with the legend very early in his career.
“We have learnt a lot from him. I was fortunate that I got to work with him in the beginning of my career in ‘Isi Ka Naam Zindagi’. He was the pran (life) of every film," he said.
Pran passed on July 12. He was 93. Pran, whose full name is Pran Krishan Sikand, has appeared in over 400 films between 1940s and 1990s. Though the actor played both positive and negative roles, he was famous for his negative roles in movies like ‘Zanjeer’, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Don’, ‘Karz’ etc.
“I remember as a kid when I used to see Pran saab's name in the titles, I used to get scared such was his impact and work. He made a huge contribution to the Indian cinema,” Aamir Khan concluded.
