Ever since her debut movie ‘Dabangg’ actress Sonakshi Sinha has been stereotyped as a rural belle in her movies. But the actress is all set to break her mould with the movie ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara’.
Director Milan Luthria said that he has explored the never-seen-before sensual side of Sonakshi Sinha in this movie.
“She is extremely talented and photogenic, and we have pushed the envelope a little bit. I have touched upon her sensual side in a way that has not been done before. There is intimacy with both the leading men (Akshay and Imran). We didn’t cross the line and she was fine and comfortable doing the scenes,” said Milan Luthria to Hindustan Times.
The director believes that Sonakshi Sinha’s fans will enjoy seeing this side of Sonakshi Sinha.
“The intimate scenes have been shot gracefully. There is no unnecessary exposing. It’s a side of her that people will enjoy. In fact, I have never shown any expletives in my previous works as well,” he said.
Milan Luthria revealed that he had planned on casting Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobara’ even before the release of her debut movie ‘Dabangg’.
“I had met her at a party before the release of Dabangg, and there was some instinct which told me to cast her. Today she is getting terrific reviews for her work. I am happy for her success,” concluded Milan Luthria.
‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobara’, a sequel to ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’, stars Akshay Kumar, Imran Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Sonali Bendre in lead roles.
The movie will release on August 15.
