Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone outfits from 'Chennai Express' to be auctioned

The costumes worn by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in their upcoming movie will be auctioned off. The proceedings from the sale will go for a charity.

The auction will take place just before the release of the film.

 “People are really appreciating the different look that is donned by the actors in the film. With so much appreciation, the makers are planning to auction some of the costumes from the film and extend the proceedings for charity,” said a source close to the team.

‘Chennai Express’ is directed by Rohit Shetty. It is co- produced by Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Roy Kapur and Ronnie Screwvala under UTV Motion Pictures.

The action-comedy stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

The movie is all set to release this Eid, August 9.
