Actor Aamir Khan, who recently saw the trailer of the movie ‘Issaq’ starring Prateik Babbar and Amyra Datur, sees a lot of potential in Prateik.

Aamir Khan, who shared screen space with Prateik in the movie ‘Dhobi Ghat, said that he was happy to see Prateik’s performance.

“I think there is a great potential in Prateik. Though I didn't get the chance to work with him again, I am happy to see his good work. I liked his work when I saw the trailer," said Aamir Khan.

‘Issaq’ directed by Manish Tiwary, released on Friday (July 26, 2013) and is based on Shakespeare's play ‘Romeo and Juliet’.

The actor said that that he liked the trailer and the movie seems interesting.

“I liked the trailer. The director, Prateik's and heroine's work is looking very good. The way Benaras is portrayed is looking nice. I think the film is very promising and I feel it will be a good film. My best wishes are with the entire team," said Aamir Khan.

It was Aamir Khan who gave Prateik Babbar a break in Bollywood in his movie ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’, where Prateik played the role of heroine’s brother.

Though the trailer of the movie created positive buzz the movie itself has failed to impress. The movie released last Friday to average to negative response from critics as well as the audience.
