After making her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ actress Alia Bhatt is all set to star in yet another movie by Karan Johar production house, Dharma Productions.

The movie named ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhan’ will not only star Alia Bhatt but also her ‘Student of the Year’ co-star Varun Dhawan.

“(My next is) ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. The announcement has just been made and I am doing this film with Varun. It will release next year. (I am) very excited about that,” said Alia Bhatt to IANS.

The actress, who is also working in the movie ‘2 States’ also being produced by Dharma Productions, said that Dharma Productions feels like home to her and she has complete faith in Karan Johar.

“Dharma is like my home production, it is home for me. Karan said, 'Alia, you are going to do this film' and he has great vision for me,” Alia Bhatt said.

“I trust him completely. It's obviously going to be very exciting working with him," she added.

‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ will be directed by debutant Shashank Khaitan.

 It is currently slated for a June 27 release next year.
