B-town is rife with rumors that actress Aishwarya Rai is all set to make her comeback on big screen with an item number in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie ‘Ram Leela’. But filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has denied the reports.
“First it was Sonakshi Sinha, then Madhuri Dixit. Now it's Aishwarya. None of the three rumors has any truth to it,” said Sanjay Leela Bhansali to IANS.
Though actress Aishwarya Rai remained unavailable for comment, a source close to the actress also denied the rumors and said that Aishwarya’s top priority at the moment was her daughter.
“At the moment Aaradhya (Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan's daughter) is Ash's one and only priority,” said the source.
” Yes, she is slowly looking at scripts again, and some very good ones. But you know what? She gets tempted, and then again she decides now is not the time. She doesn't want to miss out a single moment in Aaradhya's growing-up years,” added the source.
But the source said that Aishwarya Rai might give her approval for the remake of 1983 classic movie ‘Masoom’. For one, it is a story that Aishwarya loves. Secondly, the makers are willing to adjust the schedules according to her convenience.
"But an item song? No way," the source concluded.
