Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who was admitted at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday after complaining about uneasiness in chest, is still in ICU but is in a stable condition.

“Dilip Kumar has been admitted to our hospital, he is in the intensive care unit (ICU) and his condition is stable," Lilavati Hospital spokesperson Dr Naresh Trivedi told PTI on Sunday.

Saira Banu's manager Murshid Khan also confirmed the news.

"He is in ICU, but doctors have said that he is fine and his condition is stable. So, nothing to worry. Saira Banuji is with him from last night in the hospital," he said to IANS.

Murshid Khan also denied the reports that the veteran actor suffered a mild heart attack on Sunday.

“No nothing as such. He was just feeling uneasy,” he said.

The 90 year old actor was born as Muhammad Yusuf Khan on December 11, 1922, in Peshawar (now in Pakistan) and his acting career spanned six decades and over 60 films.

Due to his iconic roles in movies like ‘Devdas’, ‘Madhumati’, ‘Mughal-e-Azam’ and ‘Ganga Jamuna’ he earned the title of ‘King of Tragedy’.
