Producer Ratan Jain, who produced 1990’s super hit movie ‘Khiladi’, plans on making a sequel to the movie with a new comer.

‘Khiladi’ that released in 1992 was directed by Abbas-Mustan. The hit movie starred Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Jhulka and Deepak Tijori in key roles.

“Films that I have made are not too old. I started working in the 1990s, so yes, youth knows about my film. Yes, we are trying various ideas to come up with different films,” said Ratan Jain to IANS.

“I don't know about remake, but we are planning to make a sequel to Khiladi. It's in a very early stage, we are still scripting," added the filmmaker.

The producer, who also worked with Akshay Kumar in hit movie ‘Dhadkan’, is keen on casting a new face in the lead rather than Akshay Kumar.

“Most probably we will cast a new comer for the sequel,” concluded the producer.
