Actress Kareena Kapoor will be doing a special appearance in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie ‘Gabbar’.

Previously it was reported that Kareena Kapoor will be playing the lead role in the movie. But Shabina Khan, who is co-producing the movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, denied the reports.

“She will only be doing a special song in the film. It is a two day song. We are yet to decide what kind of song it will be and when we will shoot for it. We are excited to work with Kareena again,” said Shabina Khan to PTI.

The filmmaker also said that Kareena Kapoor will feature in a special song in the movie.

This is the second time that Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor will feature in an item number. They previously collaborated for the song ‘Chinta Ta Ta Chinta Chinta’ from Akshay Kumar’s blockbuster movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’.

‘Gabbar’ is remake of Tamil blockbuster movie ‘Ramanaa’. ‘Ramanaa’ was directed by A.R. Murugadoss and features Vijayakanth, Vijayan, Yugi Sethu, Riyaz Khan and Ravichandran in important roles. The action movie is a story about an individual’s struggle to make our society corruption free.

The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Shraddha Kapoor, Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood.

The movie will go on floors from November this year.
