The release date of Aamir Khan’s eagerly anticipated movie ‘P.K.’ has been postponed to December.
The movie that was earlier scheduled to release on June 6 will now release during Christmas this year.
“‘P.K.’ release shall be in Christmas 2014,” said filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
Though the movie has been postponed, no reasons have been given for the postponement.
Actor Aamir Khan also confirmed the news through Twitter. The actor is excited to release the movie during the Christmas season given the immense success of his movie ‘Dhoom 3’ that released on Christmas Day in 2013.
“Hey guys, PK release date is finally locked. This Christmas. My lucky date! Jai Ho!," Aamir posted.
‘P.K.’ is a political satire film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Aamir Khan.
Aamir Khan’ son Junaid makes his debut as an assistant director in this movie.
The movie stars Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt in prominent roles.
