Well, the suspense has been revealed. Naga Chaitanya and comedian turned hero Sunil are acting together in the remake of super hit Tamil movie ‘Vettai’.  The movie would be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on Sai Ganesh productions banner.

Dolly of ‘Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kahstam’ is directing the movie. Earlier, UTV Motion pictures have announced that they are dubbing the movie in Telugu as ‘Bhale Thammudu’, but Bellamkonda has snapped the remake rights for a whooping price in the last minute. This untitled movie will go onto the floors from June 26.

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s new movie Gabbar Singh has created an all time record thus registering approximately Rs 33 crores for 5 days. Once again, Pawan Kalyan has unleashed his box office stamina and the movie is running with packed houses in all the released centers.

Producer Ganesh Babu and heroine Shruti Hassan have tasted their first success with ‘’Gabbar Singh’. The collections of the movie are phenomenal overseas as well and additional screens has been added over there. Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s new movie ‘Rebel’ will hit the screens in July. Currently, the shooting of the film is progressing in Hyderabad where the unit is filming scenes on Prabhas, Krishnam Raju and others. Raghava Lawrence directs the movie, while Bhagawan and Pulla Rao are producing it.

Deeksha Seth and Tamanna are playing the female leads opposite Prabhas in this stylish action entertainer. Raghava Lawrence himself is providing the music for this film. The first look of ‘Rebel’ will be released in this month, while the audio would be released in June. Prabhas’s last movie ‘Mr Perfect’ is a commercial hit at box office.

Hero Sairam Shankar’s new movie titled ‘Romeo’ first look is out.  The story and dialogues of the movie are penned by ace director Puri Jagannadh. Sairam Shankar and debutant Adonica are playing the lead roles in this romcom. Vallurupalli Ramesh is producing the movie, while Gopi Ganesh directs it.

Major part of ‘Romeo’ was shot in exotic locales of Europe. Currently, the post production works of the film are in progress and the makers are planning to release it sometime in June. Sunil Kashyap is scoring the music. Sairam Shankar has pinned lot of hopes in this movie as his last release 'Bumper Offer' failed at box office.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s new film ‘Daruvu’ has completed censor scrutiny and obtained U/A certificate. The movie is gearing up for a huge release on May 25 worldwide. Tapsee plays the leading lady of the film, which is touted to be a socio fantasy entertainer. Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna is producing the movie, while Souryam Siva directs it.

For the first time, Ravi Teja is playing dual roles in ‘Daruvu’. As per reports, the movie came out well and the entire team is very confident over the film’s success. Ravi Teja badly needs a hit now as his last movie ‘Nippu’ has failed miserably at box office.

Tollywood’s #1 director SS Rajamouli’s new movie ‘Eega’ will undergo censor on May 21. The film is set for a grand release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages on May 30. Kannada Super Star Sudeep, Hero Nani and Samantha are playing the lead roles in this revenge drama. The music of the film scored by MM Keeravani has already become a rage among the audience.

Currently, the re recording of ‘Eega’ is progressing at fast pace in Prasad Labs, Hyderabad. Director Rajamouli has roped in Hollywood technicians for the special effects part of the film. Sai Korrapati is producing the movie with a whopping budget and the cinematography is by Senthil. The trade pundits are predicting nothing less than a blockbuster from Rajamouli this time with ‘Eega’.

Rana Daggubati’s new movie ‘Department’ is going to have a premiere in Hyderabad on May 17. The biggies of Bollywood including Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Ram Gopal Varma, Mega Star Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Richa Gangopadhyay, Lakshmi Manchu etc would attend the special screening.

‘Department’ a bilingual both in Hindi and Telugu languages is set to hit the screens on May 18. The story of the film revolves around present day politics with Amitabh playing the role of a gangster turned corrupted politician.  Rana Daggubati, Sanjay Dutt will be seen as cops, while Lakshmi Manchu is playing the love interest of Sanjay Dutt.

Sex siren Nathalia Kaur will be seen shaking a leg for a raunchy number in ‘Department’.

Director Srinu Vaitla, who has tasted success with Super Star Mahesh Babu’s ‘Dookudu’, is planning a sequel of the movie. The movie titled ‘Dookudu 2’ is likely to go onto the floors once both Mahesh Babu and Srinu Vaitla wrap up their currents projects.

‘Dookudu’ has turned out to be the second biggest grosser of Tollywood and taking advantage of the craze the movie has garnered, the maverick director is planning for a sequel to it. Sources say that Srinu Vaitla has already started penning the story for this film with his team of writers Gopimohan and Kona Venkat. Thaman is expected to score music for ‘Dookudu 2’ as well.  Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanra are set to produce this movie. An official announcement will be made shortly.

The shooting of the film is almost complete and the makers are planning to release the movie in June. Chandrasekhar Reddy is producing ‘Sudigadu’ on Arundathi films banner, while Bheemaneni Sreenivasa Rao directs it.

Monal Gajjar is playing the heroine of the film. Given his reputation for comedy entertainers, there are huge expectations on this film which has lot of hilarious spoofs from several Telugu films in it.

If the same flow in collections continues for a week, then ‘Gabbar Singh’ is set to become the second biggest grosser of Tollywood thus beating ‘Dookudu’.
