Jiiva-Kartika starrer Rangam completes 100 days in 30 centers.  This film is the dubbed version of Tamil blockbuster KO. KV Anand directed the film on Super Good Films Banner produced by RB Chowdary. The film also stars Pia Bajpai in the lead role. Rangam is all about the story of a Photo Journalist who tries to save the society from crooked politicians.

Producer RB Chowdary expressed his happiness and thanked the audience for giving such a huge hit to his son Jiiva in his career and announced that the film’s 100 days function will be held on August 28 at Tirupathi.

With Rangam’s success, the Super Good Films are already producing another film with Jiiva in the lead role titled Roudram. Roudram is currently in post-production stage and is going to hit the screens soon. Shreya Saran is paired opposite Jiiva in this film.

Super star Mahesh Babu’s much anticipated film Dookudu completed its shoot except for two songs. The film is completing its patch work and post-production simultaneously. The film’s unit is planning to shot a family song from August 18. According to the sources, the audio composed by Thaman came out very well and surely it’ll be one of his best so far. The audio release function will be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika amidst huge fan fare on August 18. Samantha is paired up with Mahesh for the first time in this film. Anil Sunkara, Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta are producing this film on 14 Reels Entertainment Banner in the direction of Sreenu Vaitla. The makers are planning to release the film on September 1. Kona Venkat penned the dialogues for this action entertainer.

Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza have always denied that they were a couple and maintained that they were nothing more than ‘good friends’.

But actions speak louder than words. In a recent awards function the couple walked hand in hand in presence of Mommy D’Souza, who looked nothing but pleased.

A source reveals that the two have made their relationship public if it hadn’t been for Deshmukh family. Apparently, the Deshmukh’s weren’t pleased with Ritesh’s choice of a catholic girl. They wanted their son to settle down with someone from their community. But after years of persistence the family has decided to give the couple their blessing.

The source also added that we might here wedding bells soon. The couple is planning to settle down in 2012. If the wedding does happen it will take place twice, ones in Maharashtrian style and another in church.
