Shahid Kapoor has finally wrapped up the shooting of his father Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut Mausam.

"Final patchwork is done. It's a wrap for me on Mausam”, tweeted Shahid Kapoor.

According to his father’s wishes Shahid Kapoor dedicated his whole time on this movie and signed no other projects while shooting for ‘Mausam’. He spent the whole of 2010 and half of 2011 shooting for ‘Mausam’.

The movie was supposed to be wrapped up long and ago and even released in July of this year but due to many reasons it got delayed. The main reason was the leading lady Sonam Kapoor falling ill which meant that shooting couldn’t commence.

Now the movie is scheduled to release in September along with Vipul Shah’s movie ‘Force’.
