Added by harini on Feb 17, 2012

Last year John Abraham and Bipasha Basu broke their 9 year long relationship. At first they claimed that it was amicable and that both were moving on. But by now we know that the break-up has been anything but amicable.

Recently, when a tabloid questioned Bipasha Basu on the so called engagement between John Abraham and Priya Runchal, she said, “I really wish he gets married. He is getting old.”

When asked about her own love life she said, “Currently, there are too many men who want to date me, so I have to be careful. If I find an eligible man who fits the bill, I’ll get married too.”

When asked John Abraham what he thought about his ex-girlfriends statement, he said, “I have been very busy with my work… honestly, I absolutely have no idea about what she has said about me. So, I would rather not dwell on it at all. It’s been four and a half years since I stopped getting a newspaper at home, so I don’t read what people say about me in interviews.”

Added by harini on Feb 17, 2012

Kareena Kapoor’s upcoming movie ‘Heroine’ is being compared with Vidya Balan’s super successful movie ‘The Dirty Picture’ as both the movies deal with lead protagonists who are actors.

But Kareena Kapoor denies any similarities between the two movies.

“Vidya (Balan) did a fantastic job and I don’t like clarifying rumors, but I have to assert that there are absolutely no similarities between the two films. Silk was an item girl while my character, Mahhi Khanna, is a heroine,” said Kareena Kapoor to HT.

Kareena Kapoor has already completed the first schedule of the movie that lasted 11 days. The actress will soon begin shooting for the second schedule.

“We’ve got 80 days more to go before we wrap up the film and there’s so much more to come,” she said.

Salman Khan recommends Aamir Khan for Siddique's next

Added by harini on Feb 16, 2012

It’s a known fact that Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are the best of friends. If further proof was needed for their comradeship, then Salman Khan recommending Aamir Khan for his ‘Bodyguard’ director Siddique’s movie will serve as one.

Siddique made his Bollywood debut with ‘Bodyguard’, which went on to become one of the biggest hits in Bollywood. Ever since then Siddique has been working on the script of his second movie and was keen to repeat the ‘Bodyguard’ success by signing Salman Khan.

But when Salman Khan read the script he told Siddique that it was fantastic script but Aamir Khan suited the role better than him. He also the told the director that he is busy with ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Dabangg 2’ and wouldn’t be able to give the required dates.

“But after hearing the idea, Salman felt that it was more suited for Aamir. Besides, he also conceded that he's currently tied up with prior commitments like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Dabangg 2’. So even if he wished to, he can't commit to it. He's even believed to have said that he would talk to Aamir if Siddique wanted him to,” said a source to a daily.

I am not doing Rajkumar Hirani's next: Anushka Sharma

Added by harini on Feb 16, 2012

It’s just been 4 years since Anushka Sharma made her debut along side Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. In these 4 years Anushka Sharma has carved a niche for herself and has established herself as one of the most sought out actresses in Bollywood.

Anushka Sharma is already living the dream of many Bollywood heroines by not just being YRF favorite girl but also by working in a movie to be directed by Yash Chopra himself.

According to the latest reports the actress had also been signed by Rajkumar Hirani for his next movie that also stars Aamir Khan. But the actress denied the reports and said nothing had been finalized yet.

“There is nothing of that sort at the moment. Whenever there is something, an announcement will be made officially,” said the actress to HT in an interview.

I hope to work with Rajini Sir in near future: Katrina Kaif

Added by harini on Feb 15, 2012

It is a well known fact that Katrina Kaif was the first choice for Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth’s movie ‘Kochadaiyaan’.

But the actress is so busy with her movies ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ with Salman Khan, ‘Dhoom 2’ with Aamir Khan, an untitled project to be directed by Yash Chopra featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma and ‘Dostana 2’ with John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan, that the actress failed to accommodate ‘Kochadaiyaan’ in her busy schedule.

So the director of the movie Soundarya had no other option but to replace her with Deepika Padukone. Even though Katrina Kaif is a bit sad that she isn’t a part of the movie, she completely understands the change.

“Rajinikanth sir’s daughter Soundarya was in touch with me. But given my schedule for the next 10 months, we were unfortunately not able to coordinate dates with their technicians, who are being flown in from different parts of the world. The film is highly technical. You will understand when you watch it,” she said to a daily.

I'm too old for romantic movies: Saif Ali Khan

Added by harini on Feb 15, 2012

Action films seem to be the flavor of the season in Bollywood. When the Khans and Ajay Devgn have tasted tremendous success at the box office with their action films, how can Saif Ali Khan be left behind?

Saif Ali Khan’s next release ‘Agent Vinod’ is an out and out action spy thriller. Even his next movie ‘Race 2’ is filled with action. So, has action now become his forte?

“Well I don't know if action's been my forte, but it's something that is interesting me at this point in time. Films like ‘Agent Vinod’ and ‘Race 2’ excite me more than say a ‘Love Aaj Kal’. While I'm respective and appreciative of the roles that have given me the success and credibility, at this age I think I would like to do something more strong and mature,” he said to Midday.

He also added that he thinks he is too old to run around tress and its time for him to ‘grow-up’.

Saif Ali Khan has grown up watching Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman action thrillers. But the actor is of an opinion that in Bollywood its either black or white and there is no place for grey characters in Bollywood.

“In America they like complicated situations, grey characters, real issues. For us, even today, we love heroes. For example, Sriram's (Raghavan) last film with me, ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ had some level of grit and realism to it. But it still wasn't as much compared to international films. I don't think we are particularly honest about portraying reality in our films and they have left us behind in that space,” he said.
