The trailer of the most eagerly anticipated movie of the year ‘Bobby Jasoos’ is finally out.

Actress Vidya Balan, along with producer Dia Mirza, unveiled the trailer of their upcoming movie ‘Bobby Jasoos’ in the presence of real-life detectives on Tuesday.

“I have never seen such a turnout for any of the events. Thank you for coming. It was a very different experience altogether shooting for this film. We did a lot of research and met a few detectives and spoke to them before shooting for the film," Vidya told reporters during the trailer launch of the film.

I am flooded with offers after National Award: Rajkummar Rao

Actor Rajkummar Rao, who recently won a National Award for his brilliant performance in ‘Shahid’, said that ever since he won the National Award for the Best Actor he has been flooded with movie offers.

“I was getting lot of offers after ‘Kai Po Che’. Earlier, I was getting 20 offers, now I am getting 30-40 offers a month. There are more options for me to choose from. But it does get difficult. Tough to say yes and no for a project. If a script excites me and challenges me as an actor then only I say yes to it," Rajkummar Rao told PTI.

Rajkummar Rao, who made his debut Dibakar Banerjee's ‘Love Sex aur Dhokha’, garnered critical and commercial acclaim after he showed his acting prowess in films ‘Kai Po Che’, ‘Shahid’ and ‘Queen’.

He won a National Award for his extraordinary performance in movie ‘Shahid’, a biographical film on the life of lawyer and human rights activist Shahid Azmi, who was shot dead in 2010.

The actor said that though he has been offered many good roles he is being very picky about the offers he accepts.

Aishwarya Rai to play lead in 'Jazbaa'

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta has revealed that his upcoming movie ‘Jazbaa’ will feature none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead role.

The action thriller will not only mark the return of Aishwarya Rai on big screen but will also see the actress performing stunts and action scenes.

“Yes guys it's true. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play the dynamic female lead in my action/thriller Jazbaa,” posted Sanjay Gupta on his Twitter page.

This news was confirmed by Aishwarya Rai’s spokesperson as well.

I want to direct soon: Jimmy Sheirgill

Actor Jimmy Sheirgill, who has tried his hands in both acting as well as producing, said that he wants to don a director’s hat soon.

“Direction is something that I love. It's the most fascinating thing ever. It's either being in front of the camera or behind the camera. If ever I become something apart from an actor, it's definitely a director," said Jimmy Sheirgill to IANS.

“Every film I watch, I just see people perform and how it's shot. I am enjoying being an actor but one day if I have to do something else, then I think I will get into direction," he added.

The actor also said that this is the best time to enter the industry as the audience is opening up to new and unique subjects.

“I am extremely happy that all kinds of films are being made these days. Earlier things were different so, I feel this is the best time to be in this industry," he said.

Jimmy Sheirgill, who has produced Punjabi films like ‘Dharti’ and ‘Rangeelay’, said that he may refrain from producing more films.

Aishwarya Rai to make an apperance at Cannes on May 20

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai, who missed the first of her two scheduled appearances at the 67th Cannes International Film Festival due to an air traffic controllers' strike in France, will now walk on the red carpet on May 20.

Actress was earlier scheduled to make her first appearance this year on May 16. But her flight from London to Nice was delayed due to strike in France.

“Today Aishwarya will be shooting an ad and doing media interactions. On the red carpet on (May) 20, 21 and amfAR on (May) 22,” posted Aishwarya Rai’s spokesperson on Twitter.

Today actress Rani Mukerji released a statement confirming her wedding.

Aamir Khan's 'P.K.' to release on December 19

The release date of Aamir Khan’s eagerly anticipated movie ‘P.K.’ has finally been announced.

“Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films, in association with Disney India, confirm that PK shall release on December 19, 2014," said a statement.

Earlier the movie was scheduled to release in the month of June this year but it was later postponed to December. While announcing the postponement of the release, movie’s director Rajkumar Hirani, had stated that most of Aamir's films release during Christmas and they have done well.

Filmmaker Vikas Bahl is keen to act actress Alia Bhatt as the female lead in his upcoming movie ‘Shaandar’.

It’s rumored that the director, who has already finalized Shahid Kapoor for the male lead, recently approached Alia Bhatt with the script.

“We have finalized Shahid. I would like to have Alia in the film, but we are still working on the script. So it's too early to talk about it (the heroine)," said Vikas Bahl to PTI.

When asked, actress Alia Bhatt chose neither to confirm nor deny the reports.

“‘Holiday’ is my fourth film with Akshay. I think once when a pair is accepted, people like enjoy watching them together onscreen and I guess that's why people even cast them," Sonakshi Sinha told IANS.

The actress, who has worked with the likes of Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh, has said that she shares a good working rapport with all of her co-stars.

“Luckily, I've had a very good working rapport will all of my co-stars. Nobody has complained about me and they never said they don't want to work with me,” said Sonakshi Sinha.
