Puri Jagannath, the director of ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’ is a happy man. Not only is his movie being appreciated but also the talks of possible sequel have been surfacing

“Ever since Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap opened in theatres last Friday, people have been asking me if a sequel is on the way. Yes, the ending was left open but we’d not thought of taking the story forward while shooting the film. But now, I’ll bring up the subject of Bbuddah 2 with Mr. Bachchan (Amitabh). I don’t have a story yet but if he’s interested, we could get it rolling next year”, says the director who is gearing up to meet the Bachchans soon.

Before he starts thinking about Bbuddah 2, Jagannath wants to start his next movie featuring Abhishek Bachchan.

“It’ll have romance and action… And a Telugu version with Mahesh Babu, with whom I’d done Pokiri (2006) earlier, and Kajal Agarwal (she makes her Bollywood in Ajay Devgn’s Singham). We’ve still to finalize the heroine opposite Abhishek,” informs Puri.

The movie is supposed to be titled ‘Businessman’ with the tagline, ‘Guns don’t need agreements.’

The much talked about song of Raveena Tandon has been chopped off the movie. Rumors are rife that the DVD version of the movie will contain the song. But the director isn’t sure of that either as editing the movie now will be difficult. He though promised that the song will be added as a bonus track on DVD.

Raveena Tandon said that she got many ‘disappointed’ calls from people about her song. “I never expected the song to be such a hit. Even my daughter, Rasha, was hooked on it,” says Raveena.

When asked if she would be interested in Bbuddah 2 she replies, “Sure, but hopefully the next time I’ll have a full-fledged role and not a three-day cameo.”
