Kamal Hassan was in a turmoil regarding his heroine for his movie ‘Viswaroopam’ after Sonakshi Sinha walked out of the movie. But finally his turmoil has come to an end as he has signed Sameera Reddy for the role of his wife in the movie.

Sonakshi Sinha who was the first choice for the movie walked out due to her prior commitments with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie ‘Rowdy Rathod’.

Later the talks of Deepika Padukone being signed for the movie started but the actress opted out due to her busy schedule.

"Plus she is to star opposite Rajnikanth, Kamal's archrival down South," said the source.

Now its being said Sameera Reddy has being roped in for the lead role.

"Kamal wanted an actress with a Bollywood connect. Sonakshi was first signed for it, but unfortunately she left the project due to date as well as weight issues”, said a source.

The source also confirmed that Sameera Reddy is doing the movie.

“Yes, she is doing the film. She is very glad to be a part of the project. Though she is too young to play Kamal Hassan's wife, it is a big opportunity for her,” added the source.
