After turning the heads with her bold portrayal of Silk in the movie ‘The Dirty Picture’, Vidya Balan is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘Kahaani’, in which she plays the role of a pregnant lady searching for her husband.

The first theatrical trailer of the movie was released recently and it’s quite clear that the movie is a one woman’s show… Vidya Balan’s show.

“I am a very greedy actor. I want to play different people; I want to do different kinds of films. Even if it means that the hero is the protagonist, as long as I have enough to do in the film I am more than happy doing it,” she said during the release of the trailer, in which too she sported a baby bump.

“I am very happy with the kind of films being made today and that I am getting a chance to work in them. They are appealing to the audience as well, which is most important. Women-oriented films are being made since years, but it is only today that they are tasting success,” she said.

Though the actress has been a part of woman oriented films, Vidya Balan said that she isn’t restricting herself to woman oriented films.

“I have not made any boundaries or limitations for myself. I have not dictated myself that if the script is women oriented only then I will work in it or anything. If the film is good, if the role is good I will definitely do it,” she said.

The movie is being directed by Sujoy Ghosh and releases on March 9.
