We all know that good friends and filmmakers Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor are coming together to make a love story with a twist. But filmmakers can’t seem to agree on the leading lady.

The leading lady of the movie is supposed to a very strong and sexy character. While Karan Johar thinks that Kareena Kapoor fits the role perfectly, Ekta Kapoor wants to cast Katrina Kaif in the leading role.

It is a well known fact that Kareena Kapoor is the go to heroine for Karan Johar, who had infact recently confessed the same.

“Kareena is the in-house heroine for us. Period! Everyone at Dharma is pretty much in sync with that, and that was the case with "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu" as well. When it comes to her, the role has to be really interesting, meaty and challenging,” Karan Johar had previously said.

Though Ekta Kapoor agrees the role is performance oriented she still wants to cast Katrina Kaif as she believes in Katrina and her success at box office. And also Ekta Kapoor is working with Kareena Kapoor in ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2’ and now wants to work with Katrina Kaif.

Both the actresses though have a jam packed schedule for this year with big movies in their kitty.

Depending on the role and which actress can accommodate dates for the movie, the leading lady will be cast.
