Since yesterday reports have been circulating about legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar’s ill health.  

The rumors that started on social networking site spread like a wildfire and in the end Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar, had no other option but to turn to twitter and clarify that she was hail and healthy.

“Namaskar. Please don't believe any rumors which are doing the rounds about my health and well-being. All is well, by the grace of god,” she tweeted.

In fact the rumors had taken such turn that it was even said that the singer had passed away.

It was filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar who immediately put rest to this piece of news.

“Stop this baseless rumor. Lata didi is absolutely fine and kicking. I just spoke to her,” Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted.
