After working in 5 movies under Yash Raj Films banner, Anushka Sharma is finally moving on to work in other production houses.

The actress, who recently signed Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola’, has now been signed by Rajkumar Hirani for his next movie, which is one the most anticipated projects ever since his movie ‘3 Idiots’ became one of the biggest hits in Bollywood.

“Hirani and Anushka had a couple of meetings recently. Hirani considers Anushka to be a very talented girl. He feels she has a lot of spunk,” said a close friend of Anushka Sharma to Mumbai Mirror.

“This is a very big step in Anushka's career. A few months ago, she signed Vishal Bhardwaj's ‘Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola’. Now, she is doing Munnabhai director Hirani's next,” the friend added.

According to another source the director is keen on signing his ‘3 Idiots’ star Aamir Khan for this film.

“That is almost final. But let's see. An official announcement with respect to the male actor will be made soon,” said another source.

If everything goes as planned this will be the first time that Anushka Sharma will be working with Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir Khan.
