John Abraham said that his upcoming movie ‘Shootout At Wadala’ will be a career defying movie for him and do what ‘Vaastav’ did to Sanjay Dutt’s career.
“People ask me what is this film for you? I say that this film is my 'Vaastav' (which had Sanjay Dutt in the lead role). On a serious note, it's a career defining film and it's something that I have taken very seriously,” said that actor, who plays the role of gangster Manya Surve in the movie.
The movie is directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Ekta Kapoor. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, Mahesh Manjrekar, Manoj Bajpai, Tusshar Kapoor, Ronit Roy and Kangna Ranaut.
Meanwhile, John Abraham is currently busy with his maiden production venture ‘Vicky Donor’ which will be releasing next month. The actor said that he had lots of fun while shooting for the movie.
“I am enjoying a lot because my cast of Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Anuji (Annu Kapoor) are super talented. Our director Shoojit Sircar, with whom I am doing my next film, we are all a great team. We are really having a great time and enjoying this,” he said.
John Abraham will soon be seen on big screen as his movie ‘Housefull 2’ is releasing on April 5.
