In a unique way, the first trailer of Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha’s movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ was launched in at B D D Chawl grounds in Worli.

The action packed movie is directed by ace choreographer Prabhu Deva, who made his debut as director in Bollywood with Salman Khan starrer ‘Wanted’. The movie produced Sanjay Leela Bhansali and UTV Motion Pictures is slated to release on June 1, 2012.

Talking about the movie Akshay Kumar said, “We are extremely happy to launch our first look among you all. The film has action, comedy, dance...everything,” he said.

Interestingly, it was director Prabhu Deva who was more popular among the audience. After requests from the crowd gathered there Prabhu Deva decided to shake a leg and show off his famous moves.

“I am happy and tensed about this event,” said Prabhu Deva during the event.

The trailer was leaked online even before its launch.

“I know it is wrong to do it (leak the look). But what can I do if people see and like it. But I am happy that people have liked it,” lead actress Sonakshi Sinha tweeted.

The movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ is the remake of Telugu blockbuster hit ‘Vikramarkudu’.
