Ever since ‘Dangerous Ishq’ first look poster was revealed, Karisma Kapoor sensuous pose wearing a red slit gown with her right leg forward is being compared to the much talked about look of Angelina Jolie at the Oscars.

Angelina, who dressed in a black velvet Versace high-slit gown with right foot forward, became most talked celebrity at the Academy Awards Red Carpet.

But actress Karisma Kapoor denies that her look in the movie has been inspired by Angelina Jolie’s Oscar look.

"We shot this before the Oscars so it is not at all inspired from there. And in this poster I am walking and not posing like Angelina Jolie," she said.

Vikram Bhatt, who directs the movie, thinks that the comparison is very short sighted.

“It is quite strange that the minute we have a slit in the gown we say it’s Angelina Jolie, nobody says Helen or the other actresses so I think it is short sighted,” he said.

 ‘Dangerous Ishq’ is a 3D thriller that stars Karisma Kapoor, Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta, Sameer Kochar, Gracy Singh and Ruslaan Mumtaz.

The movie will release on May 11.
