After doing ‘Aaja Nachle’ way back in 2007, actress Madhuri Dixit is all set to make a comeback on big screen with the movie ‘Dedh Ishqiya’.

‘Dedh Ishqiya’ is a sequel to Vishal Bhardwaj’s 2010 hit movie ‘Ishqiya’, which starred Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.

Previously it was reported that Madhuri Dixit had been signed for the sequel but she denied it. Now the actress finally confirmed the news through Twitter.

“Hey guys, back in action. On sets for Star’s Life OK. Am doing Dedh Ishqiya. ‘Jhalak’ right around the corner. More to come!,” Madhuri Dixit Nene tweeted.

‘Ishqiya’ directed by Abhishek Chaubey and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj opened to great reviews from critics and then went on to become a box-office hit.

Vidya Balan, whose performance in the first movie was praised immensely, said that she doesn’t have any qualms about not featuring in the sequel and was infact happy to see Madhuri Dixit in it.

“In the first part, the two men (Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi) come to my village to meet me. In the next part, they will go elsewhere, so obviously they will meet someone new and not me. Anyways, I like Madhuri Dixit and I’m happy that she is in the sequel,” she had said to PTI previously.
