Anurag Basu’s movie ‘Barfi’ has been delayed yet again.
The movie that had been postponed two times before has been postponed yet again and now the movie won’t be releasing on August 31st, as reported before.
Previously the reason for postponement was Anurag Basu’s best friend Imtiaz Ali taking up all dates of Ranbir Kapoor for his movie ‘Rockstar’. But this time the reason is the leading lady of the movie Priyanka Chopra, who still has two days shooting left.
“Only Priyanka's portion remains to be shot, the film is complete. The producers have already postponed the release from July 13 to August 31 to give Priyanka to devote a couple of days. But she's already started on ‘Zanjeer’,” said a source.
But the director Anurag Basu doesn’t blame Priyanka for the delay.
“Our schedules went haywire and all the actors had to re-adjust their dates. Priyanka tried her best to accommodate us. I'm sure she will manage to give us the two crucial days,” said Anurag Basu to a daily.
Anurag Basu has decided to utilize this time to dub the lines of other leading lady of the movie, Ileana.
“Ranbir has no dubbing to do since he plays a deaf and mute character. I'm happy to say Ileana's Hindi has improved and she can confidently dub her own lines. Not bad for a girl who couldn't speak the language when she started,” he said.
But apparently Ranbir Kapoor isn’t happy with ‘Barfi’ getting delayed yet again. If the reports are to be believed then he has personally requested Priyanka Chopra to take time out for the movie.
