Bluesky Cinema grabs overseas rights for Daruvu.

Though there is no official statement on their website, few reports mentioned that Bluesky cinema bagged theatrical, DVD and Streaming rights of 'Daruvu' in all overseas markets except Dubai. Bluesky Cinemas has successfully screened 'Arya2', 'Maghadeera', 'Jayeebhava', 'Dhoni', 'Evaraina Epudaina', 'Sashirekha Parinayam' and 'Swagatham' Overseas.

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s 'Daruvu' comes after ‘Nippu’, an all time dud at box office in his career. ‘Daruvu’ is directed by Koratla Shiva, cinematography is being handled by Vetrivel, dialogues penned by Ramesh Gopi and Anil Ravipudi, editing by Gautham Raju and music by ‘Vijay Anthony’.

The casting has almost every comedian in Tollywood. Veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana, who was famous for his portrayal of Yama Dharmaraju in several films, was cast for the that role.

Ravi Teja and Tapsee were paired up previously in ‘Veera’ an extreme disaster at box office and success still awaits the combination.
In February 2012, the shooting of ‘Daruvu’ was disrupted by activists of Telangana in Osmania University. 'Daruvu', which was planned to release on 4th May was postponed and hits the theaters on 18th May.
