Bollywood actor Aamir Khan finally made his much awaited TV debut with a bang with his show ‘Satyamev Jayate’. Ever since the show was aired it has become the most spoken about or most covered topic among audience and media.

This obviously hasn’t gone down well with the show’s rival channels that are planning on their own ways to compete with the show and its ratings.

If the reports are to be believed then a rival channel recently approached Salman Khan to host a game show to take on Aamir Khan’s show. The channel even offered Salman Khan a mammoth fee for hosting the show. But apparently, Salman Khan turned the channel down as he wasn’t willing to be pitted against his good friend Aamir Khan.

Aamir and Salman Khan’s friendship is pretty well known and so is their rivalry with Shah Rukh Khan.

But recently, in an interview with DNA Aamir Khan said that he respected Shah Rukh Khan and was very good friends with Salman Khan.

“Salman is a very dear friend, and we do catch up, but not to discuss people. Nor are we a bunch of schoolers to team up against anyone. My friendship with Salman has nothing to do with my equation with Shah Rukh or his equation with Salman. I have a lot of respect for Shah Rukh,” he said.

Now that he has made his TV debut comparisons with Shah Rukh and Salman Khan are more than expected.

“Why only them, there’ve been so many other actors on TV. But, you know, I am really not looking at breaking anyone’s record. That’s not my or my show’s motive,” he said.

The fight for top spot between the 3 Khans also goes even at the box-office. But Aamir Khan said that he doesn’t believe in numbers game.

“Whoever wants the throne can have it, main toh yaheen theek hun yaar. When I do films there’s no other motive than it being something that I feel passionately about, so it really doesn’t matter what the others are doing,” he concluded.
