Ever since Aishwarya Rai was snapped recently by the media she has been in news for her weight. The former Miss World is being criticized for not losing the pregnancy weight even after 6 months of delivering a baby girl. While some think that’s its ok that the actress is still enjoying her motherhood, other feel that its high time Aishwarya lost all the flab and became glamorous diva that she is known to be.
Amidst all these controversies there have been rumors that the actress wouldn’t be attending Cannes Film Festival this year because of her weight. But recently a source to DNA confirmed that Aishwarya Rai will be attending the Film Festival.
“Yes, Aishwarya will be going to Cannes this year,” the source said to DNA.
The source also said that 6 month old Beti-B will be traveling with her mommy.
“We can’t confirm about Abhishek yet, but Aishwarya won’t travel without Aradhya for sure,” the source said.
Not just a source but Snehhal Chitneni of the cosmetic brand that Aishwarya will be representing at Cannes too confirmed the news.
“Yes, Aishwarya is slated to attend the festival and she has confirmed it too. In fact, this year the actor will have a bigger role to play as the brand ambassador,” she confirmed.
This will be Aishwarya’s 11th appearance in Cannes. The actress is slated to walk the red carpet on two consecutive days.
