Shahid Kapoor had only one release last year ‘Mausam’, which was directed by his dad Pankaj Kapoor and it, went on to, become a flop at the box-office.
So, now the actor has decided to make 3 movies in a year instead of just one or two.
“I don't think I am choosy about films now...I might be like that three years back but now... all I can say is that from now I am going to be busy for couple of years. I told myself after 'Mausam' that I want to do three films in a year,” said the actor while promoting his upcoming movie ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ with Priyanka Chopra and directed by Kunal Kohli.
“But unfortunately I am having a bad luck...I have a film to do with Maneesh Sharma which has been postponed due to his illness,” he added.
When asked whom does he aspire to become he said, “I am not trying to be someone else. I am trying to create an identity for myself and that is what I am working for.”
Shahid said that he they worked hard on the film and are happy with the response the music of the movie has received.
“For every film one works hard and for this film also we have worked hard. It is fun, young and an entertaining film. As far as the music goes, we are happy with the response,” he concluded.
The movie ‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ will release on June 22nd.
