Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut with ‘Dabangg’ last year, is gearing up for the release of her second movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Prabhu Deva.

While promoting her movie at a mall the actress was asked if she would be willing to do an item number. Actress replied by saying that she wasn’t bold enough to do an item number but wouldn’t mind to do one if she was presented properly.

“I haven't been offered any item number till now. If there is a good song, I am convinced enough and I am presented in a right way, then why not,” she said.

Her song ‘Chammak Challo Chail Chabeeli’ is being appreciated by many but the actress said that the song isn’t an item number.

“This song is not an item song. It's a very situational song with a wedding as its backdrop,” she said.

Actress, who played a small town girl in Dabangg, will be seen in a similar way even in this movie. But the actress said that she wasn’t scared of being typecast as a ‘desi-girl’.

“I am not waiting to get a role that will change my desi girl image, but still if I get something, which requires me to be more westernized and my character is good I won't mind doing it. Right now I am happy representing my own culture,” she concluded.

The movie ‘Rowdy Rathore’ is all set to release this Friday June 1.
