The veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, who has worked with Madhuri Dixit previously in movies like Rajiv Rai's ‘Tridev’ (1989), Pankaj Parashar's ‘Rajkumar’ (1996), M F Hussain's ‘Gaja Gamini’ (2000), said that he was huge fan of the actress and cant wait to work with her again.
“Madhuri and I have worked together before and I am her fan. I don't know how many films of mine she has seen but I always thought she is a good actress and I am waiting to work with her again,” he said to PTI.
“I am waiting for the shooting to begin. It will be at the end of the year. I am waiting also because it will be Abhishek Chaubey's next film. I feel it will be better than ‘Ishqiya’,” he added.
Presently the actor is gearing for his next release ‘Maximum’, which stars himself, Sonu Sood, Neha Dhupia and Vinay Pathak in lead roles.
The actor is playing the role of the cop in the movie directed by Kabeer Kaushik.
“The subject of this film appealed to me. I liked my role and it was a wonderful experience working in this film,” he said.
The actor also denied that he would be directing any movies in the future.
“I will not be directing any film. It is very difficult. But I admire those who make good films. But I will not try. I will never leave acting. Even if I stop working in films, I will never leave acting. I do a job which I love,” he concluded.
