Actress and former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, who started her beauty pageant organization, I Am She, in 2010, is proud of the fact that one of her protégé Himangini Singh Yadu won the title of Miss Asia Pacific recently.

“It`s a proud moment for India, Himangini Singh has made us all very proud by winning this title because we have been waiting for a win on the international stage for a long time now. She has given us the biggest gift. Her life starts now because today once again an Indian beauty has been recognized and given a place on the world map and that is one of the greatest achievements,” said Sushmita at a press conference.

The actor said that she was one a bit relaxed and could concentrate on movies.

“I am a bit relaxed now and can go back to doing movies. I have signed few projects so by the end of this or next year you will see me in a film,” she said.

The actress, who had previously announced in 2007 that she would be directing and producing ‘Jhansi Ki Rani’, said that the movie was still on hold.

“‘Jhansi Ki Rani’ is on hold. I will make it only when I get the right budget. It's a story which is important to me and I will make it when the time is right,” she said.

“From being a mother of two to running I Am She and my entire film production house is a daunting task... My daughters keep me on my toes because one is going to turn 13 and the other one three,” she concluded.
