For the past few days there have been reports doing rounds saying that Aamir Khan isn’t happy with the way his movie ‘Talaash’ has shaped up and was having a rift with his director Reema Kagti regarding the same.
But the actor ridiculed the reports and said that there was not an ounce of truth in the rumors.
“Over the last few weeks, I have noticed that there have been some attempts to spread rumors about my film. Clearly, someone is not very happy with the way it is progressing, and I can assure you that ‘someone’ is not from our team,” said the actor to a daily.
The reports suggested that Aamir Khan wasn’t happy with the way the second half of ‘Talaash’ has turned out and was at loggerheads with the director to re-shoot the second portion of the movie. It was said that the movie would be further delayed due to this.
“Reema, Farhan, Ritesh and I are very happy with the way Talaash has turned out, and I would like to clarify that our film is releasing as planned on November 30. There’s no change in that date,” Aamir Khan insisted.
An insider revealed that the whole team of ‘Talaash’ was amused by the reports and are laughing at them.
“All the reports are totally untrue and baseless. Our team is laughing at them. Internally, whether it’s Ritesh (Sidhwani), Farhan (Akhtar), Zoya (Akhtar), Reema or Aamir, they all know that the film has shaped up well and are happy with the end result,” the insider said.
“Aamir is passionate about his films, but he would never interfere with a director’s vision. It’s amusing to read all this, as everyone knows how meticulous Aamir is with his plans. He wouldn’t ignore any of his projects,” he concluded.
Along with Aamir Khan, the movie also stars Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.
