Prakash Jha’s upcoming movie ‘Chakravyuh’, starring Abhay Deol, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpai, Kabir Bedi and Esha Gupta, has been invited for a world premier in the prestigious London Film Festival to be held in the month of October.

The filmmaker Prakash Jha in an interview with IANS said that having a world premier during such a prestigious event will give his movie good exposure.

“It's a prestigious festival which provides good exposure for the film. But it is not opening the festival. It has been invited for a world premiere,” he said.

The movie that was earlier scheduled to release on October 5th might just be postponed to October 12th as the London Film Festival only begins on October 10th.

However, the director refused to confirm the change and said that they were only ‘thinking about it’ at the moment.

Prakash Jha also feels that the film festivals world wide are finally ‘opening to Bollywood films’.

“It's a great thing,” he said.

If the movie does get postponed it might face competition from Karan Johar’s much awaited movie ‘Student of the Year’ as the movie is scheduled to release October 19th. But Prakash Jha isn’t intimidated by this.

“There is no big movie coming out the following week. Only ‘Student Of The Year is coming out the next week, which is okay,” he concluded.
