Boman Irani and Farah Khan starrer ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ is one of the hugely anticipated movies of this month. The movie promises to be unique and different from other love stories as it boasts a love story between two 40 year olds.

In the movie Boman Irani plays a character named Farhad, a 45 year old Parsi bachelor, who earns his living by selling bra and panties. He falls for Shirin, played by Farah Khan, a 40 year old bubbly and straight forward Parsi. But their love story isn’t all that smooth as all hell breaks loose when Farhad’s mother Nargis realizes that her beloved son is in love with her arch enemy.

Even though the movie is a romantic story, actor Boman Irani said that it was quite different from other romantic movies.

“Our approach towards romance was all the more immature. As we don’t know how one will romance at the age of 45 like do we hold hands, sent messages or flowers or other things. The falling in love is clumsy, immature, catching and holding hands is done in clumsy, bumbling fashion,” said Boman Irani to PTI.

The chemistry between Boman Irani and Farhan Khan is being very much appreciated by the audience but Boman Irani himself thinks that the romancing Farhan Khan was very awkward.

“I am not very comfortable...it was for the character had it not for the character, I would have become comfortable doing this kind of a film. It is good that I am uncomfortable as it is good for the character,” he said.

“Had the character meant to be comfortable may be I would have practiced more with Farah in private,” he concluded.

The movie ‘Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi’ is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Sister Bela Bhansali Sehgal and will release on August 24.
