Salman Khan’s latest movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is running to jam-packed houses in India and has already collected a mammoth amount of Rs. 32 Crores on the opening day itself. This is in fact the best opening for a Bollywood movie.

But unfortunately the movie won’t be able to pull off similar feats in Pakistan as the movie has been banned there by the Pakistan Censor Board because of its storyline about a Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) agent.

In a recent tweet to a fan of the movie from Pakistan, director Kabir Khan confirmed the news.

“True... @BeingTeJan: #EkThaTiger gets banned in Pakistan. It was abt peace & friendship between Indo-Pak,” tweeted Kabir Khan as a reply to a fan’s query of whether the movie will release in Pakistan any time soon.

Earlier too the Censor Board of Pakistan had refused to release the movie because it had references about the ISI.

This isn’t the first time that a Bollywood movie has been banned in Pakistan for referring to ISI. Earlier this year Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Agent Vinod’ was banned in Pakistan on the grounds that it portrayed the powerful ISI in an unflattering light.
