After surprising everyone with their sizzling chemistry in ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’, Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan have been paired together for the second time in yet another romantic movie.

The movie, still untitled, will be directed by Punit Malhotra and production by Karan Johar’s production house.

“We are making a film with Kareena and Imran in the lead. Karan is producing the film and I would be directing it. We are very happy to have Kareena and Imran on board with us,” said Punit Malhotra to PTI.

The director said that unlike his last hit film ‘I Hate Luv Storys’, this movie wasn’t a romantic comedy but still a romantic movie.

“It is a romantic movie, as well as a little more than that. It is tough to be put in a genre. It is different from 'I Hate Luv Storys'. It is not a rom-com, but definitely a romantic film, a little more serious,” he said.

The director said that he hopes to start working on the movie by the end of this year or early next year.

“We are waiting to lock dates (of actors). Hopefully we will start shooting for it from this year or may be next year,” he concluded.

Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s movie ‘Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu’ that released in February this year went on to become a hit and chemistry between Imran and Kareena was loved by one and all. The movie was directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Karan Malhotra.
