Shahid Kapoor, who was all set to feature in Maneesh Sharma’s next movie to be produced by Yash Raj Films, has walked out of the movie at the last minute as he failed to incorporate the movie in his jam packed schedule.

The movie that was earlier scheduled to go on floors in September has now been postponed. Director Maneesh Sharma and Jaideep Sahni, who has co-written the screenplay and script of the movie along with Aditya Chopra, have decided to make a few creative changes to the script. They have also decided to include lip-sync songs, which were earlier not part of the film.

With Shahid Kapoor having three movies back to back to he failed to readjust his dates to accommodate the revised schedule.

“Both Jaideep and I have decided to bring in a couple of lip-sync songs which will need to be recorded before we can go on floor. However, it is sad that Shahid has understandably had to opt out because of this delay, given his packed schedule going forward,” said Maneesh Sharma.

Shahid Kapoor is currently busy working in three films – ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero’, Bejoy Nambiar’s yet untitled film and Prabhu Deva’s ‘Namak' opposite Sonakshi Sinha.

But Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen in an YRF movie as the production house is already in talks with the actor for another project for next year.
