Both Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have remained tight lipped over their hugely anticipated wedding.

In fact recently the rumors began that the couple was contemplating on postponing the wedding to early next year from October this year. But Saif Ali Khan’s mother Sharmila Tagore maintains that the wedding would definitely take place this October.

“The wedding would take place in October,” said Sharmila Tagore to reporters on August 28.

But the actress denied to confirm a date and said that media had to ask Saif Ali Khan for it.

It’s been also said that the ceremony will take place in two stages, with an actual ceremony in Delhi followed by a lavish celebrity affair in Mumbai. The actual ceremony will be attended by only close friends and family.

Previously there were rumors that the wedding would take place in Pataudi palace as the mansion is getting renovated. But Sharmila Tagore denied this.

“After Nawab sahab’s funeral, the garden and the area nearby at the Pataudi palace needed some work. We are getting it renovated and a wall has been built. But it has nothing to do with the wedding,” concluded Sharmila Tagore.
