Ever since Prakash Jha revealed that his next movie ‘Satyagraha’ starring Amitabh Bachchan would be on corruption, the movie has been in news and has become an eagerly anticipated movie.
Director Prakash Jha feels that his movie will be coming out at an important juncture in our history as the middle class citizens of India have finally started to raise their voices against corruption in our Nation.
“Today, it seems that the middle-class all over the world is in anguish with the system and is gearing up to almost renegotiate democracy. This is where our history is going to be settled. It's such an important juncture in the world history,” he said to IANS.
Along with Amitabh Bachchan, Prakash Jha has managed to rope in Ajay Devgn Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai for the movie as well. He thinks he is lucky to have such a talented star cast.
“There is corruption of wealth and power and it seems that the course of history is going to be settled. I'm extremely fortunate to have a dream cast of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay, Kareena, Arjun and Manoj playing the key roles,” he said.
The movie that is scheduled to go on floors in January next year will address the ethos of a peaceful mass protest against corruption.
