Facebook seems to be the place to be as more and more Bollywood celebrities are joining the social networking site.

Just days after Amitabh Bachchan joined Facebook; Salman Khan has followed the suit. The actor opened his page earlier today and has already got over 2.6 million likes already.

Just like Amitabh Bachchan Salman Khan too posted a video message for all his fans and spoke about the reason he decided to join Facebook.

“A lot of people told me 'there are so many of (your) fake Facebook pages, so when are you joining it'. So here I am on this platform,” he said in the video.

“Jitne fake pages hain woh ya toh woh join kar le is page ko or kya kahun main?’Fake off' (So all the fake pages either just join this page or, what can I say, fake off),” he added.

The actor also gave a sneak peek into the chain of Being Human stores opening in October.

“We are opening Being Human stores all over India starting October,” he said.

The timeline of the actor shows his journey from his very first movie ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, in which he Prem, to his most recent movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’.

The actor also posted pictures of his from different walks of his life and has also posted never seen pictures of his dog.
