Actor Vivek Oberoi is all set to play a baddie in upcoming superhero movie ‘Krrish 3’.

In a recent interview the actor said that his character in the movie has potential to become ‘Gabbar Singh of today’.

“I am really very, very excited about ‘Krrish 3’. It's a really cool, bad character and it's a role of a lifetime. It's like a Gabbar Singh of our times, so I am very excited,” he said to IANS.

The movie ‘Krrish 3’ is the third movie in ‘Krrish’ franchise and is a sequel of 2003 movie ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ and 2006 superhero movie ‘Krrish’.

The movie is directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan.

The movie stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi, Kangna Ranaut and Shaurya Chauhan in lead roles.

The movie will be released during Diwali next year.

Meanwhile, Vivek Oberoi is now gearing up for the release of his comedy movie ‘Love, Paisa, Dilli’ this Friday.

Along with this, the actor is also busy with ‘Zilla Ghaziabad’, and romantic comedy ‘Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story’.

The actor, who made a strong debut with ‘Company’ and ‘Saathiya’, hit an all time low recently. But now the actor is back with a bang and is happy to have multiple projects from multi genre under his belt.

“It's good, one should do different kinds of films...It's a colorful year, a rainbow year where I am doing all kinds of films. I am very, very excited about it,” he concluded.
